Examples could be lung recovery for mesothelioma workup, brain recovery for a neurologic study, tissue recovery for a cancer research protocol,  recovery of a recalled or potentially defective device.  In all of these instances, the object is recovered and thus able to be submitted to the appropriate agency or laboratory.  A report of findings is not generated unless an accompanying autopsy occurs.
